Today is April 15th.
If you were receiving back the loan you made to the government in 2007, chances are, you've already filed your taxes and are sitting there all smug because hey! Free money!
The Pop family, however? We just paid ours.
While I love the idea of getting a large lump sum back from good ole Uncle Sam every spring, I understand the concept of ensuring that you get as close to even as possible. After all, they get an interest-free loan from the taxpayer every two or so weeks and it sucks!
But I hate having to write that check.*
*Then making Dr Pop sign it. ;-)
