A Very Brady Christmas

All the Bradys come together for a family reunion, but their lives are in a dramatic mess! In true Brady fashion, though, they struggle through potential tragedy to come together in the end.

You know, I think the world would be a much better place if we could avert tragedy by a rousing rendition of Oh Come All Ye Faithful.

If you were a child of the 70s like me, then you grew up with the Brady family. You laughed at their hijinx, thanked your lucky stars that you only had to share your bathroom with ONE other person, and wished you had an Alice living off your kitchen. You perhaps tried to break a world teeter-totter record, or tried your hand at movie-making. You witnessed the double wedding of Jan and Marcia. You may have watched The Brady Brides with the disappointment that can only come from sitcom spin-offs. (Remember Joanie Loves Chachi?)

After the highs and lows, however, we were greeted one more time by the (almost) complete cast in 1988. And the feel-goodness of the Brady Bunch clan was once again known.

This holiday season, I've searched high and low for a rerun of this movie. I've found one at The Alamo Drafthouse here in Austin. I may have to drag Dr Pop to it.
