Marriage isn't about avoiding the bumpy parts, it's about grabbing each other's hand tightly and going through the bumpy parts together, being on the same team. It's about taking both sides of work and home life and making them seem like one continuous circle, instead of home being an after-thought to work. It's about looking at the other person and saying, "I need you. And I know that you need me. Not to clean the house, cook the meals or bring home a paycheck. I need YOU, because you cherish me, you support me, you protect me. You make this life so much sweeter."
