Turbo Jam = Turbo Soreness

Ask and ye shall receive…

I received my copy of Turbo Jam’s five workouts, tape measure, supplements, book, and "Elite 11" moves on Wednesday of last week. After walking with my son in tow (Literally, I pulled him in a wagon) for 30 minutes, I took out the tape measure, measured all my bits and pieces, weighed myself, and started the "Learn ‘N Burn" workout. I’m woefully out of shape because I only made it through the learning portion and about half of the burning portion.

I woke up Thursday morning with aching muscles all over. Muscles I never knew existed hurt. My husband told me that this was a good thing. So after work on Thursday, I did the whole learn ‘n burn thing again, this time making it all the way through. Once I finished, I told my hubby that I was ready to move up to the next level. Oh, the hubris! Oh the arrogance!

Yep, Friday morning I couldn’t move for a few minutes after I woke up. Ugh! I am still a bit sore and this is Monday! I did take the weekend off, so there was no working out whatsoever. I plan to start it up again tonight. The way I look at it, anything that can make the areas I most hate on my body sore, and therefore potentially smaller and more toned, isn’t a BAD thing.

Hey Ellen- Is it fun? Does it get boring? How's the music?

You know they say you can lose 10 inches and 10 lbs in 10 days...at least I think that's what they said.

That is indeed what "they" say. In fact, they go so far as to include a 10-day challenge weight and measurement chart and a folding 10-day plan including diet and daily video workout choices. Personally, I'd be happy with any change (first I have to start back after four days off), but the whole inches thing is pretty cool if it works.
